Restoration of the Hildebrandt organ from 1728, Alexander Schuke orgelbau GmbH, 2017
The organ by Zacharias Hildebrandt (~1688 – 1757) from 1728 has a beautiful powerful sound and gives a well-tended impression inside again. In 2017 the organ was restored by our firm technically, tonally as well as in the colour version.
Many traces of use left behind both optical and tonal inadequacies, which could now be remedied.
Especially the reconstruction of the trombone 16′, the improvement of the wind supply of the Prinzipal 16′ as well as the general noise reduction in the mechanics let the instrument with its 31 stops on II manuals and pedal shine again in its old glory.
