The reconstruction of an organ includes supplementing what is no longer available and reproducing it in the highest quality.
Here it is our claim to return almost lost cultural assets in their often very rudimentary condition to their technical and tonal state of origin.
Before starting a reconstruction project, our experienced organ builders carry out a fundamental research of sources and include information from existing instruments of the same type and time. The reconstruction concept is developed step by step in consultation with researchers, experts and musicians.
The reconstruction of the instrument is carried out as far as possible with the same materials and methods as the old organ builders did. As far as possible, existing original components are reused. Furthermore, consideration of the restoration guidelines should help to bring the reconstructed instrument as close as possible to the original.
