Historical New organ, Alexander Schuke Orgelbau GmbH, 2013
For more than 400 years the original painted prospect pipes have shaped the image of the organ on the gallery of the Bardowick church in Nikolaihof.
The original pipes were in contradiction to the predecessor organ, which was replaced by a reconstruction of a Renaissance organ from 2013 (op. 629) to match the existing pipework.
The manual chest is located above the console. 8′ long pipes (Bordun 16′ and Trumpet 8′) have been led away to the back.
In the reconstructed organ 9 stops on one manual and pedal have been inserted, which is perfectly suited for special organ music of that time like Scheidemann, Dowland and others.
