At the foot of the Pfingstberg in Potsdam, Empress Auguste Victoria donated a church building which was consecrated in 1894. In 1896 the church received an organ from the court organ builder Wilhelm Sauer.
Already in 1933 this organ was enlarged and rebuilt by Alexander Schuke from Potsdam. Due to the warm air heating and fatigue of the electropneumatics, this organ was no longer playable at the end of the 20th century and was replaced in 2011-2019 in several construction phases by Alexander Schuke from Werder by a purely mechanical slider chest organ using parts of the old pipework.
It will be completed with the 125th anniversary of the Kirchweihfest with II manuals and pedal with 25 stops as Opus 626.
